The Hostel

Our hostel is located in the heart of Bucharest near the international train station (Gara de Nord) in a quiet and friendly area.

Within the range of a ten minutes walk you find a big park (Herastrau), a couple of international restaurants (all tested by us) as well as the pulsating centre of the city with its bars, cinemas, theaters.

100m from the hostel is a tram- and busstation, public transport can get you fast and reliable to wherever you would like to go.

How to get to us: From the train station: Take Bus Nr. 282. Just walk left immediately at the end of the railroad tracks, leave the trainstation to the left entrance, cross the big street (Cal. Grivitiei), turn left and look for a big yellow bank label with black letters that says "Banca Romaneasca". The busstation is right there. Get off at the 6th station (Piata Domenii), right cross the big street in the back of the bus, turn left and the second to the right is Dumitru Zosima with the Hostel on the left side after 50m.

From the airport(s) it is best to give us a call at +40 740 032 644 and we pick you up from the airport for 15 Eur per car. You can take a taxi as well, make sure you only get cabs from FlyTaxi outside of the terminal, do not accept any taxi offer from whoever. The ride with FlyTaxi is about 20 Euros (The airport is around 15 KM outside of town).
